Glasgow Science Centre
50 Pacific Quay, Glasgow, G51 1EA
The Glasgow Science Centre is a 5* visitor attraction on the south bank of the River Clyde. It is primarily an educational charity, but it is also a unique event venue.
GDevCon will be taking place in the IMAX centre, which was used in 2021 for COP 26. It has the largest screen in Scotland with a very impressive auditorium and plenty of space for everyone to spread out.
During event breaks delegates can explore the vast number of interactive exhibits, and admire the views of the Clyde and South West Glasgow from the upper levels of the museum. Just make sure you don’t get lost!
By choosing this venue we are not only able to deliver a fantastic event, but also support the important work that that is being done by GSC locally and nationally to inspire people to engage with science.
Evening Social Event
Our evening social event (included in the ticket price) is going to be one to remember, as we take over Dockyard Social for cocktails, mocktails and street food.
Located in the West End of Glasgow, it is a short walk from the main venue and easy to reach from various parts of the city. Originally a ship building yard, it's a fun space for all delegates to spend a few hours together.
Dockyard Social is a social enterprise which has supported homeless charities intially and now works with the PEEK Project to provide meals for children from the underprivileged backgrounds in school holidays. They aspire to set up a training school to support young people with hospitality training.
