Brighton Dome
Church St, Brighton BN1 1UE
Brighton Dome is located in the centre of Brighton, close to the Royal Pavilion which is an iconic and distinctive looking building. It is well known as an arts venue, holding music concerts, and is a stop for many comedians on tours. Fun fact: ABBA won the 1974 Eurovision song contest at Brighton Dome!
GDevCon will take place in the recently refurbished Corn Exchange & Foyer. There is lots of space to deliver presentations, huddles and the tech cave.
Brighton is known as a fun and inclusive city in the heart of Sussex on the south coast of England. There are plenty of things to do beside attending GDevCon, with a great range of restaurants, coffee shops, bars and shops, not forgetting the seaside and pier! You might want to see if Brighton & Hove Albion football club are playing at home that week, or visit Brighton Racecourse if there is a race day.

Evening Social Event
We will be taking our evening social event to Shelter Hall this year, which is a local sea front food market and bar offering a range of street food options which will be served as a buffet so you don't have any choices to make! This event is included in the ticket price and will take place on 9 September.
The size of the venue means that everyone can sit together and talk over the first day.
Shelter Hall is located right on the sea front, easy to access from wherever you're staying in Brighton.

Brighton is located on the south coast of England, and can be reached in less than an hour from central London by train. It is very compact so you will be able to access most of what you want to do by walking. However there is also a good network of buses which are a cost effective way to travel around. You can find out more about when and where they run, on the Brighton & Hove Bus website.
The closest airport is London Gatwick, which is a 30 minute train ride from Brighton. The trains run regularly and you can enjoy a journey through the English countryside. From London Heathrow you will need to take the London Underground to London Victoria to transfer to mainline services to Brighton. If you would like to avoid using the London Underground, you can take the Elizabeth Line to Farringdon and change there for a Thameslink service to Brighton, this journey time is roughly the same. Alternatively, coaches from National Express travel frequently between Heathrow (as well as Gatwick and central London) and Brighton.
If you are travelling from mainland Europe via the Eurostar, there is a direct rail link from St Pancras (this takes 1 hr 15 minutes) to Brighton making it a simple transition.
You can of course access Brighton via road, car parking is available but can be expensive as the local council push the greener alternative of using public transport. Some hotels will offer car parking, and there are also many options in privately owned or council run car parks. There is no parking available at the venue.
